
Chris grew up overseas, living in a variety of countries including Dubai, Egypt, Kenya, and England. He spent his high school years living in central London, and was able to see tons of shows and concerts there. He hiked the Wicklow hills south of Dublin and climbed Mount Snowdon in Wales, among many other beautitful places. Chris graduated from Brown University in 2003 with a B.A. in Classics, and worked as an IT Consultant in Los Angeles for four years before moving to Boulder in 2007.
Chris loves to work on challenging technical problems. He specializes in Linux, Cloud Computing, Nagios, and scripting. He strives to understand the full stack, and how interlinked components affect each other. Chris has led enterprise-wide deployments of Nagios, migrated dozens of servers and websites to cloud computing platforms, and is currently rolling out an ambitious three-year road map of new features and offerings for AppliedTrust's Platform Management program.
Outside the office, Chris loves to go hiking in the foothills around Boulder with his wife, Alexis, and dog, Jinx. He is an insatiable reader and loves everything from Gene Wolfe's science fiction to biographies of Alexander Hamilton.
