Boulder, Colo. -- [September 28, 2011] -- AppliedTrust was a platinum sponsor of the 2011 TEDx Boulder event held September 24 at Macky Auditorium on the University of Colorado Boulder campus. The theme of the event, an independently organized TED event, was “Time and Change.” The one-day program featured talks, music, art exhibits, technology demos, and an evening reception.
“The TED mission of spreading ideas is simple but brilliant, and we are very excited to have been able to sponsor the 2011 TEDx Boulder event,” noted Trent R. Hein, AppliedTrust’s CEO. “This year’s event brought together an amazing group of speakers, many of whom are local to Boulder, and it was great to see the wonderful turnout for it. We look forward to being part of TEDx Boulder events in the years to come.”
The TEDx program provides communities, organizations, and individuals the opportunity to promote dialogue through TED-like experiences at the local level. TEDx events are planned and coordinated independently. This was the second TEDx Boulder event; the first was held in August of 2010. Learn more about TEDxBoulder at http://www.tedxboulder.com.
