Dan Mackin

Dan started his career at IBM, supporting the international disbursements finance department. He slowly integrated himself into supporting the business team's technical needs, which helped prepare him for becoming an IT consultant at AppliedTrust. Dan joined AppliedTrust as an intern while in college and became a full-time employee after graduating. He focuses on Linux server support, server/system hardening and monitoring, and network vulnerability scanning. Dan has a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Outside of work he likes to travel, snowboard, hike, camp, and generally enjoy all that Colorado has to offer.
