PHP/LAMP Application Engineer
This position will require a development foundation but will be heavily oriented toward building web-based applications using platforms such as Drupal. Key characteristics and responsibilities of this position include:
- A deep understanding of PHP and the entire LAMP stack including real world experience deploying and supporting applications.
- Familiarity with best practice release management methods and other key concepts (SDLC, secure coding practices.)
- The ability to interpret requirements (in technical and non-technical formats), respond to feedback and adapt to meet fluid requirements with a positive attitude.
- Experience provisioning and supporting production services in an enterprise environment is desirable.
- Motivation, strong critical thinking skills and a can-do attitude are essential.
- The ability to work with minimal supervision and manage your own workload.
- Possess a keen grasp of the practices and the importance of change management.
- Experience working with CMSs such as Drupal would be highly advantageous.
