Paul Nelson

Paul began his career doing network and systems administration at Denbigh School & Technology College in his native England. After relocating to the United States, Paul worked at Chief Industries, Inc., in Grand Island, NE, where he went from initially providing general support to becoming a lead system and security administrator, addressing the many challenges offered by a modern, geographically dispersed environment. At AppliedTrust, Paul specializes in helping clients design and implement scalable, highly available systems, especially enterprise systems such as Active Directory and Exchange, to accomplish a variety of unique business objectives. He also conducts computer security incident forensics and analysis. Paul has a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Physics with Computing from the University of Warwick, United Kingdom, and a Master of Science with Distinction in Information Security from the Royal Holloway University of London, and is working toward an M.B.A. at the University of Colorado at Boulder Leeds School of Business. In his free time, Paul enjoys spending time with his wife and dog, fly fishing, skiing, and mountain biking.
