Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS) is the largest school district in Colorado, with approximately 86,000 students, 12,000 employees, and 154 K-12 schools. AppliedTrust began providing IT security services to JCPS in 2005, and has continued to serve as a technical partner for both IT security- and infrastructure-related projects, including implementation of a Disaster Recovery plan. With AppliedTrust's help, the District not only now has a documented, tested Disaster Recovery plan that covers all critical systems, but disaster recovery has also been integrated into everyday business practices in line with change management, making it much easier to integrate new systems and applications into the District's DR plan in the future.
"We have found a great technical resource in AppliedTrust. Leveraging their certified experts for assistance with projects that are outside the scope of our usual operations or expertise has been much more cost effective than trying to hire full-time staff with comparable credentials, allowing us to maximize the use of the District's funds."
