Nationally recognized as one of the country’s most wired cities, the City of Boulder has a significant information presence to service its citizens. Along with the convenience of offering many online services comes the requirement that the City comply with relevant regulatory standards, including the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) and the Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy. AppliedTrust has helped the City to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information contained on its IT systems by performing a wide range of assessment activities, including identifying systems and services that fall under the purview of PCI DSS and CJIS, assessing current levels of compliance, and developing mitigation plans for any weaknesses found, as well as preparing for and responding to a variety of potential IT security incidents.
